Overview

Mystic Evenings was an upscale fashion brand and boutique specializing in luxury evening gowns and designer formal wear in Cairo. Contracted through digital agency MITCHDesigns, this project delivered Mystic Evenings' inaugural digital storefront and e-commerce platform.

Served as Software Architect and Full-Stack Developer across all phases, from requirement elicitation with brand managers to full implementation and deployment. Built on the proprietary custom PHP MVC framework and MySQL, the platform combined high-resolution editorial lookbook presentations with a structured inventory catalog and secure online checkout gateway.

Engineered lightweight visual rendering pipelines and structured asset caching to display high-resolution lookbook galleries and detailed gown fabric close-ups smoothly without degrading page load speeds.

Designed normalized relational database schemas managing complex garment attributes, including size matrices, color variations, fabric availability, and boutique inventory stock levels.

Architected secure checkout transaction workflows, integrating direct acquiring bank payment gateway interfaces with transactional validation mechanics and inventory deduction locks to prevent overselling limited-edition dresses.
