Software Architect | MITCHDesigns - Taziry Ecolodge (2010)

Overview

Taziry is an eco-lodge and cultural heritage retreat located in the Siwa Oasis, Egypt. Built on behalf of digital agency MITCHDesigns, this project delivered Taziry's inaugural web presence, room showcase, and direct reservation engine.

Served as Software Architect, providing the foundational custom PHP MVC framework and designing the relational database schema implemented by the frontend and backend developers. Engineered a content management system featuring granular SEO meta management, alongside a booking availability engine capable of calculating dynamic room rates based on date ranges, adult and children occupancies, and room tiers.

  • ->Data Layer: Structured normalized MySQL database tables managing lodge accommodations, seasonal availability calendars, and booking inquiries.
