Overview

Built an early Arabic-language medical information and community platform combining an interactive, image-based symptom-to-diagnosis lookup tool with an integrated physician discussion forum.

The platform connected visual anatomy diagrams via HTML <map> coordinate handlers with a normalized MySQL database mapping symptoms, body regions, and potential diagnoses. Integrated a phpBB discussion forum under the same domain on a shared Apache LAMP environment, coordinating static assets, custom PHP routing, and forum authentication.
